Pediatrician from Serpukhov dispelled myths about vaccination of children from the flu
Pediatrician of the Serpukhov hospital Albina Stepanova dispelled popular myths about vaccination of children against influenza

In fact, children's inactivated vaccines do not contain a live virus: a slight malaise or fever after an injection disappears within a few days and is not influenza.
The doctor also reminded that the vaccine is needed even for healthy children - the flu is dangerous with complications such as otitis and pneumonia. It should be done annually, as viruses change and the composition of vaccines is updated. If a vaccinated child still gets sick, this does not mean that the vaccine did not work: it does not protect against other SARS, but reduces the risk of severe flu. Vitamins and hardening are useful, but they do not form specific protection.
Vaccinate children from six months, immunity is produced about two weeks. Scheme and contraindications are determined by the pediatrician.
