Penza residents were reminded which places are most often missed during cleaning

Even if the apartment is regularly cleaned, some corners and objects are often left unattended. And it is there that dust, microbes and dirt accumulate, which can harm health.
First of all, it is worth remembering about switches and sockets. They are constantly touched, so dirt accumulates on them quickly. Inside the sockets and extension connectors, dust settles. The same applies to door handles, as well as handles of furniture and household appliances. It's a real breeding ground for bacteria. Do not forget about drawers: inside the drawers and cabinets accumulates imperceptible to the eye dust. The container for toothbrushes also requires care, otherwise microbes multiply in it.
Houseplants need to wipe the leaves: dust prevents them from breathing. Refrigerator rubber seals often remain moist, leading to mold. Wires and extension cords work as dust collectors, and in the kitchen they are also covered with fat. Gadgets – keyboard, mouse, remote – are in constant contact with the hands, so they need to be regularly treated with an antiseptic. If there is a cover, it is removed and wiped separately.
Particular attention should be paid to hard-to-reach places. Under the sofa, closet and washing machine accumulates dust, wool and crumbs. The floor under the carpet also requires cleaning: once every one or two weeks, it is better to twist, vacuum and wash the floor. Walls and plinths are often overlooked, although dust settles on them. Heating radiators accumulate dirt inside and out. Chandeliers and lamps, especially those hanging high, are covered with a layer of dust. Curtains absorb street dirt, but they are rarely washed. Ventilation grilles and hoods collect fat and dust. And behind the TV or large equipment can hide a whole layer of dust.
Regular wet cleaning and ventilation help stop the spread of viruses and bacteria.
