Penza explained what you will need to pay for when applying to the MFC

The Ministry of economic development explained the situation with the payment for public services. Receipt of state and municipal services through the MFC is free. But the additional services of the Russian Post – the reception and delivery of applications and results – can be paid if the citizen chooses this method.

The ministry stressed that the procedure for providing services in the MFC does not change. Applications, results and counselling in the offices of the multifunctional centres are still free of charge.

Clarifications appeared after the media began to spread information about charging money for applying to the MFC. The Ministry of Economic Development explained that changes to the federal law “On Postal Communications” provide for the participation of federal postal organizations in the provision of state and municipal services from March 1, 2027. Under the new rules, such organizations, at the choice of the applicant or his authorized representative, provide for a fee the reception and delivery of applications to the addressees, as well as delivery and delivery of results.

It turns out that the fee is taken not for a visit to the MFC, but for additional services of the Russian Post, if the person himself decided to use this method. Receipt of services through the MFC remains free of charge – except in cases where by law you need to pay a state fee.
