Penza residents told what to do with a fraudulent loan

Expert on information security, Doctor of Law Vitaly Vekhov on the air of Sputnik radio told what to do with a fraudulent loan. He advises to immediately contact law enforcement agencies and credit organization.

Loans made online and remotely remain a serious problem, he said. For prevention, Vekhov recommends personally contacting the MFC, limiting remote real estate transactions without personal participation, setting a self-ban on loans on Public Services and controlling the number of SIM cards tied to banking services.

If you become aware of a fraudulent loan, the professor advises you to immediately file a complaint with the police or prosecutor's office through official websites. Then personally contact the bank or other credit institution where the contract was issued and inform the security service that the application was not filed. Applications to law enforcement agencies and the bank should be submitted simultaneously, Vekhov stressed.
