Penza camps received more than 129,000 children over the summer

At the meeting of the government of the Penza region summed up the results of the summer health campaign. For the organization of recreation of children in the regional budget this year provided more than 563 million rubles. Summer shifts were hosted by 357 camps: 15 country camps, 319 with day stays, 22 labor and recreation camps and one tent camp.

The potential of additional education organizations, sports complexes and creative centers was also involved. Various forms of recreation covered more than 129.5 thousand children. Special attention was paid to children in difficult life situations, children of SVO participants and schoolchildren with disabilities. The Meridian camp received more than 200 children from the Kursk region.

In "Hope" and "Sunny Valley" were inclusive shifts. Penza children rested on the Black Sea coast – in the boarding house “Primorsky” and children’s centers “Artek”, “Eagle”, “Smena” and “Scarlet Sails”.

Particular importance was attached to the content of leisure programs. Organized shifts of military-patriotic, historical-local lore, humanitarian, physical culture and sports orientation. Fourteen shifts were held together with the First Movement. In “Squirrel” and “Pine Bor” two profile shifts “Country of Heroes” took place.

The Ministry of Education of the Penza region was instructed to plan a health campaign next year. The Ministry of Finance should provide for its financing, taking into account indexation, as well as assess the possibilities for further modernization of children's country camps.
