Penza doctors went to cross on the Olympic alley

On Saturday, October 10, the Olympic Alley gathered those we are used to seeing in white coats. The annual autumn track and field cross was held here – one of the most massive sports events for health workers of the Penza region.

More than 450 people from 43 teams of state medical institutions of the region came to the start.

The race was opened by the acting Deputy Minister of Health of the Penza region Natalia Tyugaeva. She noted that the physical form of a doctor is not just a personal matter, but part of professional fitness.

A feature of the cross was that their teams were headed personally by the heads of medical institutions. They went to the same distance as ordinary employees, proving that a healthy lifestyle is the standard for the entire health care system.

On the track fought not only for seconds, but also for the title of the most friendly teams. Special attention was paid to honoring the doctors who became mentors not only in the operating room, but also in the stadium – they pass on the love of sports to the young generation of doctors.

According to the participants, the cross helped not only to check the shape, but also to recharge before the winter season.
