On the ninth of October in the special fire and rescue unit No. 7 of the Special Department of FPS No. 22 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, a holiday was held. It was dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the formation of the Special Fire Protection of Russia. People gathered at one table for whom the security of strategic and security facilities is not just a service, but a matter of life.
This structure is traditionally responsible for objects with high security requirements. It is these firefighters that ensure the uninterrupted operation of the most important enterprises and regime territories. Their professional holiday is another reason to thank those whose work often goes unnoticed.
Representatives of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Penza region, the administration of Zarechny and heads of protected enterprises came to share the celebration. Their presence was a sign of respect and appreciation for the hard work of fire fighters.
The event was opened by the head of the Special Department of FPS No. 22 of the EMERCOM of Russia Roman Sablin. Addressing his colleagues, he noted the special nature of their service, professionalism, attention and readiness to act instantly.
The highlight of the ceremony was the celebration of the best. For conscientious performance of duties, success in service and active social work, more than 40 people received awards of various levels. Separately, employees were awarded the first special ranks of the middle commanding staff – “lieutenant of the internal service”. For young officers, this moment was truly significant.
A number of fire fighters awarded the badges of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia “Participant in the Elimination of Consequences of Emergency” and “For Merit”. They also noted the winners of the competitions among drivers, dispatchers and specialists of other areas – they were awarded rolling plaques.
The celebration was another confirmation of a simple truth: real heroes live nearby. Employees of the Special Fire Protection Service solve difficult tasks every day and are ready to help at any time. Behind them is the security of the most important facilities of the country and the peace of thousands of people.
