The first snow caused traffic jams in Izhevsk: road services intensified work

In Izhevsk, the first snow fell, which complicated the traffic situation and provoked major traffic jams on city streets. The drivers had to face difficult traffic.

Due to the deterioration of the weather, utilities switched to an enhanced mode of operation. At night, 68 units of special equipment were brought to the streets of the city. 151 tons of deicing materials were used to treat roads and prevent ice.

Drivers tried to prepare the roadway for morning traffic to reduce the consequences of snowfall for motorists and pedestrians.
