According to the official, the city's industry shows steady growth even against the background of last year's high performance. The leaders remain manufacturing industries - they account for 84.4% of all output.
Production of finished metal products increased 1.4 times. The same high trend is demonstrated by domestic clothing manufacturers, which have increased production in a similar volume.
Stable growth is shown by the high-tech sector. The production of medicines and medical materials has made a powerful breakthrough in recent years.
In just 8 months, factories and plants of St. Petersburg shipped goods to customers for 2.9 trillion rubles, which is 2.1% higher than the level of the same period in 2025.
