A meeting of the 16th Business Cooperation Council between St. Petersburg and the Republic of Belarus was held in Minsk, where an updated roadmap plan and industry agreements on cooperation in the industry were signed. Key projects are the joint work of Power Machines and BelAZ, which are working on the creation of powerful traction electric drives for super-heavy dump trucks. The St. Petersburg enterprise supplies traction generators, electric motors and control systems. St. Petersburg is also actively cooperating with the Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) to update urban transport, so more than 1.7 thousand MAZ buses already run on the routes of the Northern capital.
In addition, the Belarusian manufacturer of special equipment Amkodor supplies road and communal equipment to the Northern capital, which is being finalized for the needs of St. Petersburg.
St. Petersburg Tractor Plant and Belarusian suppliers of components have established strong cooperation. The annual turnover between them reaches 1.8 billion rubles. In 2025, the plant sent 47 Kirovets tractors to the republic. This framework allows developing industrial automation, robotics, IT solutions and unmanned technologies in St. Petersburg exports.
