Petersburgers told about the five most “mushroom” points in the region

In the forests of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region began the mushroom season. September is one of the best months for quiet hunting: after the rains in the forests appeared white mushrooms, subberezoviki, podsinoviki, oil and autumn pits. Five popular destinations among St. Petersburgers include Sosnovo and the surrounding area - there you can collect white mushrooms, foxes, oils, Zahodskoe with foxes and flywheels, Kirillovskoye (boroviki, raw meats), Agalatovo and Lembolovo (opepat, flywheels), Luga and Tolmachevo (white, podsinoviki). It is convenient to get to many points by train from the Finnish railway station.

Before the trip, rescuers advise to inform loved ones of the route and time of return, take a charged phone, compass, water, bright waterproof clothes and a basket. It is not worth collecting mushrooms near trails, landfills and industrial enterprises, and it is better to leave unfamiliar specimens in the forest.
