Officially, the heating season begins at a time when the average daily air temperature in the city is kept at +8 degrees for five consecutive days. Until then, only periodic heating is carried out in St. Petersburg.
The heat carrier is automatically supplied to the metering units by resource-supplying organizations, and management organizations are already engaged in commissioning work right in the house.
To avoid hydraulic shocks and damage to pipes, heat comes to the apartment gradually, not immediately. Now in St. Petersburg are commissioning, so there may be interruptions with heating — but they are temporary. According to the Housing Committee, this is a necessary stage of setting up systems before the winter.
