Egor Kornev has already been awarded international awards. A year earlier, he had won the 2025 World Championship in the combined 4x100m relay and also took silver in the mixed relay freestyle. In addition, he holds three golds of the European Championship in 2026.
Also on October 2, St. Petersburg repeated the world record at a distance of 100 meters freestyle on short water. The athlete showed a brilliant result - 44.84 seconds.
