Petrozavodsk will become a platform for the Congress of the Association of Student Councils of hostels

In the capital of Karelia, Petrozavodsk, from 15 to 17 October will be held the Congress of the Association of student councils of hostels. The event, organized by the direction of the SCS Trade Union on student dormitories, is designed to strengthen and develop student self-government in the hostels of Russian universities, as well as to increase the professional level of members of student councils.

The congress will be attended by the best graduates of the online school of experts and lecturers, trained in two key areas. Participants of the track “Experts” gained deep knowledge in the field of legal foundations of hostels, methodology for assessing competitions and leadership psychology, preparing for work in the jury and expert commissions of all-Russian events, such as the forum “Communication of the Russian Federation”. Graduates of the track “Lecturers” have mastered the content base and public speaking skills necessary for conducting classes with elders and student councils, as well as for forming the personal brand of the lecturer.

At the educational congress in Petrozavodsk, representatives of universities from all over the country will receive long-awaited physical diplomas for advanced training and certificates of completion of online school. One of the key results of the event will be the development of at least three comprehensive programs aimed at improving the work with foreign students living in dormitories, as well as with students of 2-4 courses.

The program of the congress is full of lectures from invited experts on the specifics of working with foreign students, effective techniques for processing large amounts of information, studying regulatory legal acts and other topical topics. In addition, practical exercises are planned that will allow participants to work out the knowledge gained in practice.

The congress will become an important stage in the development of the student self-government system, contributing to the creation of more comfortable and efficient living conditions for students throughout Russia.
