Petrozavodsk archery center will continue to work: citizens helped to repay the debt on rent

The only free ray shooting range in Petrozavodsk was saved from elimination. Its founder Stanislav Romanov announced the completion of the fundraising: caring residents of Karelia transferred 230 thousand rubles needed to pay the arrears for renting the premises.

According to Romanov, the shooting range, located on the street of the Onega flotilla, will continue to function as before. The head of the center stressed that the success of the collection is the merit of hundreds of people who sent even small amounts.

For Stanislav’s wards, this hall became a vital space. Here schoolchildren develop self-control, veterans of military operations undergo social adaptation, and people with disabilities get a chance for full rehabilitation. Romanov expressed special gratitude to the organization “Veterans of military operations of Karelia” for the support provided.

Financial difficulties at the center arose due to unforeseen expenses. Stanislav Romanov, himself moving in a wheelchair, was forced to spend the money set aside for rent, for urgent repair of the car - the only means of transportation for him and transportation of sports equipment.
