Victory Square in Melitopol is preparing for the holidays: bright chrysanthemums appeared here for the City Day and the City Liberation Day. The planting of flowers was carried out by deputies of the Melitopol City Council - this tradition has already become an important part of the pre-holiday improvement for them.
As explained by the Chairman of the Council of Deputies Irina Matvienko, initially such actions were conceived as part of the improvement work, but over time became a good tradition. According to her, landscaping not only makes the city more beautiful, but also instills in residents a love for creative work, and on the eve of the holidays I want to add the main square of solemnity and bright colors.
Chrysanthemums are not chosen by chance: they bloom for a long time and retain decorativeness until the very cold, delighting citizens with a variety of shades. The event was attended by employees of the ICU “Welfare”. Work on landscaping will continue in other urban areas – plans to put in order the Bratsk cemetery, the park of the SVO, the square of Chernobyl and other places.
