According to the Ministry of health, Leningrad began to drink more in September

The Ministry of Health cited data on the consumption of alcohol products per capita in September 2026 compared to September 2025, TASS reported. The first three regions, where alcohol consumption increased, also included the Leningrad region.

Tatarstan showed the largest increase - 11.8 percent. In second place is the Leningrad Region. If in September 2025 the consumption of pure alcohol amounted to 7.75 liters per capita, then in 2026 - 8.49 liters. Growth was 8.7 percent.

The 47th region is followed by the Jewish Autonomous Region. There, consumption increased from 14.88 liters to 15.4 liters. Growth was 3.37 percent.

We add that "MK in Leningrad region" does not support the use of alcohol. Excessive alcohol consumption is harmful to your health. And often even leads to irreversible consequences.

Earlier, “MK in Leningrad region” said that the driver of the overturned car with teenagers in Sertolovo was drunk and without a license. Four people were injured in the accident.
