The solemn closing of the republican competition of professional skills of teachers "Teacher of the Year of the Republic of Belarus" and the awarding of the winner will be held on October 2 at the Palace of the Republic in Minsk. This sb.by reported in the press service of the Ministry of Education.
The final stage of the competition will be held in Minsk from September 21 to October 2. 63 teachers will take part in the final tests. This year the competition is held in nine nominations. Among them are two new ones – “Young Teacher” and “Young Director of an educational institution that implements educational programs of general secondary education”.
- As part of the final stage, participants will demonstrate professional knowledge and pedagogical skills, present their own practices and take part in various competitive tests, the ministry said.
The grand opening of the contest and the self-presentation of the participants will be held on September 21 in the Small Hall of the Palace of the Republic. On September 22-23, master classes will be held, open lessons will be held on September 24-25, and comprehensive written work will be held on September 28.
On Tuesday, September 29, the superfinal of the competition will be held. Participants will take part in the briefing “Conversations about the main thing” and hold a mini-lesson on the stage on the topic proposed by the organizing committee. And on Wednesday, September 30, the winners, laureates and participants of the competition will be awarded.

RELATIVELY
The competition has been held in Belarus since 1991. Over the years, more than 10 thousand teachers have become participants. The competition platform allows teachers to present professional experience, exchange practices and demonstrate modern approaches to training and education. More than 60 teachers will compete for the title in the final of the republican competition “Teacher of the Year of Belarus – 2026”
