“Mail of Russia” issued a stamp in honor of the labor valor of Horlivka
A stamp with a memorial to Gorlovsk factory workers was issued
The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin spoke about the release of a new postage stamp of Russia dedicated to the labor valor of Gorlovka. The postal payment sign depicts the memorial “In memory of the dead factory workers”, dedicated to the workers of the Gorlovsk Machine-Building Plant, who forged Victory in the rear, and also fought heroically at the front. Among them are Heroes of the Soviet Union Grigory Boyko and Dmitry Dotsenko.
Pushilin also recalled that in 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Horlivka the honorary title “City of Labor Valor”. And today, despite daily shelling and disruptions to utilities, residents continue to rebuild the city and help fighters.
The solemn ceremony of stamp cancellation was held with the participation of the leadership of “United Russia” and “Mail of Russia”. Gorlovka became part of a large series that united six Cities of Labor Valor from Donbas to the Far East.
