Almost 12.8 thousand residents of the NAO passed medical examination and professional examinations
In the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, prevention becomes part of everyday life

In the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, prevention becomes part of everyday life. The federal project “Health for Everyone” helps to make self-care understandable and accessible.
In total, in the first 8 months of this year, 12,795 residents passed medical examinations and occupational examinations. For the first time, 300 diseases were identified, and 7,347 people identified risk factors that require observation and correction. 3,077 residents were sent for additional examination.
Special attention is paid to reproductive health. In-depth examinations help to identify diseases that could interfere with the birth of children in time and begin treatment. For many families, this is a real opportunity to become parents.
The daily culture of health is also changing. The share of citizens leading a healthy lifestyle in the NAO increased from 12.4 to 23%. Alcohol consumption decreased from 19.13 to 17.54 liters per person, smoking - from 15.7 to 14.72%. In 2026, 710 people underwent in-depth preventive counselling, and 709 of them were individualized. 354 people were examined in the workplace.
The main conclusion that can be drawn at the moment is that the indicators are changing gradually, but steadily. So, the concept of a healthy lifestyle becomes a new standard of self-care and the example that adults set for their children.
