Almost 24 tons of shrimp from Ecuador were not allowed into the Kaliningrad region

In the Kaliningrad region suspended the import of a batch of frozen shrimp from Ecuador weighing about 24 tons. During the inspection, Rosselkhoznadzor specialists found a discrepancy in the documents.

The violation was discovered on October 8 in a temporary storage warehouse. Parts of the products indicated the date of production, which was not in the veterinary certificate.

Rosselkhoznadzor has suspended the release of cargo. The decision on further import will be made only after the agency receives an explanation from the state veterinary service of Ecuador.

Earlier we wrote that lingonberry from Lithuania deployed on the border with the Kaliningrad region.
