Specialists of the National Cadastre Agency of the State Property Committee analyzed the names of geographical objects of Belarus.

Specialists of the National Cadastre Agency of the State Property Committee analyzed the names of geographical objects of Belarus, starting with the letter C. Such settlements in the country are 68 — less than 1 percent of the total.

It is specified that most of these settlements in the Minsk region (21), Grodno (16) and Vitebsk (13). Among them are 58 villages, 5 villages, 3 agro-towns and 2 farms.
- The most popular names - Tsna and Tsagelnya (by 5), Church (4), - were listed in the NCA.
The agency added that Tsna got its name from the river. Hydronym has Baltic roots and is associated with the meaning of “quiet, calm water”. Zegelnya is a reminder of ancient crafts: the so-called brick factory, and Zegelniks were masters and workers who produced bricks. The names Church, Church and Church are associated with temples.
Among the historical sites on the site stands out the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Sonkovichi – a defensive temple with powerful walls, loopholes and towers, similar to a castle. There are also natural attractions: Tsar-oak "Pozhezhinsky" in the Brest region, a giant about 46 meters high. The Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, founded in 1932, occupies 90 hectares and is among the largest in Europe.
