Almost 700 families of Kherson region receive child care allowance under 1.5 years

In the Kherson region, about 700 families receive child care allowances up to 1.5 years. The amount of payment varies from 10 600 to 83,000 rubles and is determined taking into account the previous earnings of the parent. This was told by the Deputy head of the department of client services of the regional branch of the Social Fund of Russia Natalia Privalova. According to her, the allowance refers to basic measures to support families with children.

The procedure for granting payment depends on the applicant’s employment status. In formal employment, the benefit is issued through the employer and is calculated on the basis of average earnings. For non-working citizens, the payment is appointed by the territorial bodies of the Social Fund - with a comprehensive assessment of family income and property status.
