The search expedition “Sozhsky Frontier – 2026” started on September 21 in the Slavgorod district of the Mogilev region. The results of the first days are impressive: in the forests near the villages of Alexandrovka-1, Alexandrovka-2, Khodorovo, Lyudkov, soldiers of the Mogilev regional historical and patriotic club "Vikkra" together with the 52nd separate search special battalion of the Armed Forces of Belarus have already raised the remains of 30 Red Army men, found 16 soldiers' medallions and orders.

- Already established the name of the owner of the Order of the Red Banner, which for 85 years lay near Slavgorod, and its owner was reported missing. This is a native of the Mordovian ASSR Pavel Filippovich Andoskin (according to other sources, the surname is written Andoskin). The medallions were handed over to specialists in Minsk to identify the victims. There is still a lot of work ahead, but we can already say that this is a very successful search expedition.

Expedition “Sozhsky border” is the largest in the current season. It involves more than 50 experienced researchers - representatives of regional search teams that are part of the "Viccru", as well as volunteers who came to Slavgorod from different areas of the Mogilev region. The expedition will continue until September 30. In the Chashnik district with honors reburied the remains of the nameless Red Army soldier kislyak@sb.by
