Police and Regardie ensured security at events for the City Day in Smolensk

The festive events on the central streets and venues of Smolensk were visited by about 20,000 people.

Public safety and order were supported by employees of the internal affairs bodies, Regardie and private security enterprises. Law enforcement officers conducted preventive conversations with citizens about the rules of conduct in public places and the need to be vigilant. Thanks to the coordinated actions of all services, the festive programs passed without incident. The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Smolensk region expressed gratitude to residents and guests of the city for their consciousness.
