The Polytechnic Museum in the Novgorod region is preparing a new tourist agenda

In the Novgorod region there was a second Federal Museum – Polytechnic. Now the museum team is actively forming a program: it will be interesting not only for adult tourists, but also for children. This was told by Deputy Governor of the Novgorod region Elena Kirilova in the social network Vkontakte.

According to Kirilova, the Novgorod region is able to create bright events that become real drivers and magnets for tourists.

Large-scale and modern updates its program Novgorod Museum-Reserve. We are proud that we have a second Federal Museum – Polytechnic. It is already forming a program that is interesting for tourists, and that is especially valuable for children, she said.

Today, the tourist flow is actively growing, new hotels are opening, unique points of attraction and modern services appear. This is the result of professionalism and faith in the favorite business of our large regional hospitality team, the deputy governor noted.

On September 27, events dedicated to the World Tourism Day were held in the region.

The key sites were the Novgorod Kremlin, Yaroslavovo Palace and the Vitoslavlitsy Museum of Folk Wooden Architecture. Free excursions, a gastronomic festival and a series of master classes on traditional crafts were held here.

According to preliminary data, more than 1,350 people took part in the events. In the business part of the program, representatives of the industry discussed the development of new routes and services: following the meeting, 7 promising areas for pilot projects were identified.
