Colonel of Internal Service Sergey Lapanovich has been appointed First Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency reports with reference to the press service of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

The corresponding decree was signed by the Head of State on September 17.
