Pony thought he was a cow but learned to be a horse
Little Pony Bowie grew up in a cow herd and forgot how to behave with his relatives. But thanks to the patience of volunteers and a loyal friend, he found a real family.

In the UK, a small pony named Bowie spent the first months of his life among cows. When he was found by a passerby on pasture, the baby was not even a year old. He looked depressing: sad, neglected and completely disoriented in the surrounding world.
The animal was rescued by HorseWorld. The shelter staff quickly realized the root of the problem: because of the constant proximity to cattle, Bowie sincerely considered himself a cow. He had no idea how to communicate, play, or care for his own kind.
To help the baby socialize, volunteers decided to move him to an experienced and calm stallion named Rocky. The mentor patiently showed the ward the basics of horse etiquette: how to rub the sides, comb the hair and just trust relatives. Gradually, Bowie began to “come out of the shell”, gaining his true nature.
When Rocky found loving hosts, a new guest appeared in the shelter - a pony Merlin. Between the former “cow son” and the newcomer there was a strong friendship. This touching connection did not go unnoticed: soon a woman turned to HorseWorld, who took both friends. Now Bowie and Merlin live together in a caring family, writes “Tape.ru”.
