A fellow passenger in a taxi stole from the Nizhny Novgorod 50 thousand through the phone

In Kanavinsky district police Department of Nizhny Novgorod appealed 22-year-old barista one of the city coffee shops. The girl said about the theft of 50 thousand rubles. This was reported in the GU MIA of Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

According to police, the incident occurred during a joint trip in a taxi. Under the pretext of making a call, an unknown companion took the girl’s phone and without her knowledge transferred money through a banking application.

A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud). Police are looking for the suspect.
