Study, compete, make friends: cadets from Belarus and Russia gathered in Zubrenka

In the National Children's Educational and Wellness Center "Zubrenok" on the banks of Narochi, a shift for pupils of cadet schools, specialized lyceums and cadet classes of general education schools of the Union State has started. Over the almost 20-year history of their holding, more than 8 thousand children from all regions of Belarus and 55 subjects of Russia visited here. Future tankmen, signalmen, pilots and artillerymen reveal their talents during the shift, learn new things and have a great time in the circle of peers.

Specialists took into account any little things so that the guys were interesting and comfortable. A large-scale program was prepared for young Belarusians and Russians. For three weeks, the children, distributed in 21 detachments and 42 teams, will play sports, participate in creative and patriotic competitions and competitions, visit excursions.

Kids are also waiting for traditional events: interactive classes and master classes, cognitive walks, quests, discos, an evening light, where they sum up the day and share impressions. A variety of formats help to unite international teams, shared Svetlana Krasovskaya, Head of the Department of Methodical, Informational, Innovation Activities and International Relations of the Zubrenok NDC:

- The children will visit the memorial complex “Khatyn”, the historical and cultural complex “Stalin Line”, visit the museum of the history of the Great Patriotic War. A sightseeing tour of Minsk is waiting for them. There will be competitions in football, volleyball, basketball and swimming. Among the mandatory locations is the Moscow Emergencies Security Center, where they tell and show how to act in emergency situations. The children will visit the ethno-cultural complex “Nanosy”, located in an ecologically clean area of the Narochansky National Park, where they will get acquainted with the exposition of folk life of the XIX century and learn the principle of water and windmills.

On the career guidance day, a civil-patriotic action “Ready to serve the Motherland” will be held. It is conducted in cooperation with the Military Academy. Its representatives will tell cadets about the opportunities for admission to Belarusian universities with a military department. Cohesion of international teams is helped by creative and patriotic competitions, competitions, quests On the Day of the Union State, specialists of the canine center of the Armed Forces will come to visit the young cadets with demonstration performances, the children will be shown samples of weapons of different types. The legendary team with 85 years of creative history – the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus will perform for them. The Zubrenok Center will be visited by Deputy Chairman of the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia on Science and Education Mikhail Mironchik. For the first time in the educational and health center a pupil of the Polotsk cadet school Daria Pustinnikova got two years ago. It was a training shift that left a strong impression on her. The girl is proud to be a member of the cadet shift again:

- The best are coming to Zubrenok! To be here is worthy and honorable, such a chance falls far from everyone. The decisive factors are excellent study, discipline and creative success.

In the cadet school girl from the eighth grade. Grandpa, father and brother are military men who inspired them to follow suit:

- They raised me in a patriotic spirit. Since childhood, there was a desire to wear epaulettes, so I decided to go to the cadets, and in the future I am considering the military sphere.

Rivalry in "Zubrenka" Daria doesn't feel it. Any competition for her is a test of her own abilities, and given that most of all on the change of boys, you do not want to concede twice. In anticipation of the finest hour, Russian Egor Kanayev came for new experience and impressions. A pupil of the Ufa Cadet Corps named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Gareev succeeded not only in his studies. The guy reads poetry, preferring the military, perfectly draws, loves to sing, has awards of vocal competitions. Admittedly, he prepared a number in advance, which will perform on the stage of “Zubrenka”, and is waiting for the starry hour.

I wanted to go to Belarus. In his opinion, our countries have a lot in common:

Russians and Belarusians are similar in their desire to create and develop. Both peoples are strong, purposeful, patriotic. Close from a historical point of view, in values and understanding of life. We are united by the victory in the Great Patriotic War and the legacy of the past.

The cadet ball is ahead. Boys and girls are actively rehearsing dances, with which they will go to the parquet at the end of the shift. There will also be traditional awards based on the results of competitions and competitions. The children will be given gifts and souvenirs in memory of the friendly shift in Zubrenka.
