The Murmansk regional blood transfusion station has increased the need for donor blood. This was reported by the press service of the station.

Especially need blood of the second group with a positive Rh factor and the first group with a negative Rh factor. Donors with these groups are asked to respond and help.

In Murmansk, this is not the first appeal of donors with such a blood type this year. In May, a blood transfusion station asked northerners to donate blood from the second positive group. More than 40 people responded in a few days. The regional Ministry of Health explained that the need arose due to the applications of medical organizations and the need to replenish the supply of red blood cells, the shelf life of which is limited.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that the blood transfusion station in Murmansk will buy blood sets for 17.6 million rubles.
