On the morning of October 10, an emergency situation arose at the Ivanovo bus station: ticket offices stopped selling tickets for inter-municipal flights. Passengers are faced with the fact that it is impossible to pay for the trip with a bank card.
The day before, the security forces detained a criminal group associated with the transport business of the region. As a result, bus drivers, fearing the blocking of bills and checks, decided to stop working through the ticket offices. Now conductors sell tickets directly in the bus salons, accepting only cash.
Passengers without cash are forced to refuse to travel. Trade unions and carriers have not yet commented on how long the "cash regime" will last.
