A boy injured by a bear was brought to Moscow in serious condition
A 15-year-old victim of a bear attack was taken from the Altai Territory to the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital in Moscow

A 15-year-old teenager who suffered from a bear attack was taken from the Altai Territory to the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital in Moscow. The boy is in a serious but stable condition, reports TASS.
The attack took place on October 8 at an apiary in the Salton district. The teenager survived thanks to the explosion of the smartphone battery: the battery damaged when the bear bit the phone. The animal was frightened and released the teenager.
First aid to the victim was provided in hospitals of the Altai Territory. Then the brigade of the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Russia evacuated him from Barnaul to the capital by air ambulance.
The teenager was diagnosed with multiple bitten wounds of both hands and torso, burns to the anterior abdominal wall and traumatic brain injury. After entering the RDKB, doctors conducted a comprehensive examination, including computed tomography, and attracted specialized specialists.
Now the boy is in intensive care on an artificial ventilation apparatus. According to Anna Prytal, head of the intensive care unit of the RICB, his condition remains severe but stable.
