The Russian government in 2026 will allocate more than 4.8 billion rubles for subsidies for the construction of modular non-capital hotels and the development of tourist infrastructure. This was reported by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The funds will be provided within the framework of the profile national project.
The North Caucasus Federal District will receive about a third of the total amount – six regions of the North Caucasus Federal District will receive 1.79 billion rubles. Subsidies will be distributed among half of the subjects of Russia, including Kabardino-Balkaria, Chechnya, North Ossetia-Alania, Dagestan, Karachay-Cherkessia, Stavropol, Adygea, Udmurtia, Tuva, as well as Khabarovsk, Kamchatka and Krasnoyarsk regions.
According to Mishustin, modular hotels significantly expand the choice of convenient accommodation facilities.
