The Russian government will build a kindergarten in the Kirov district of Yekaterinburg

The Russian government will allocate over 1.2 billion rubles from the federal budget to three regions, including the Sverdlovsk region, for the construction of educational institutions. Order No. 2850-r of October 9, 2026 was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The decision was announced on October 13 at an operational meeting with Deputy Prime Ministers, the press service of the Government of the Russian Federation reports.

The funds will be distributed between the Udmurt Republic, the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Sverdlovsk region. In the capital of the Urals, part of the funding will go to the construction of a kindergarten for 350 places with nursery groups - it will be built in the Kirov district of Yekaterinburg. In Izhevsk will begin to build a school for 1,100 students, and in Krasnoyarsk will reimburse the cost of a school for 1,280 students in the residential area of Michurinsky.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Mikhail Mishustin, stressed that the government is systematically developing the educational infrastructure throughout the country to ensure equal opportunities for each child to receive quality education. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko was instructed to monitor the timely financing and compliance with the deadlines for all planned activities.

Earlier, MK-Ural wrote that several kindergartens will be built in the new microdistricts of Yekaterinburg, where intensive construction is underway. This year, it is planned to build a kindergarten for 250 places in Novokoltsovsky. In the Solnechny district in 2027, it is planned to build a preschool institution for 300 places, as well as a kindergarten for 350 places - in the Pioneer microdistrict, in the block of Kamchatskaya - Blyukhera - Sakhalinskaya - Vladivostok streets.
