President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko awarded the Chairman of the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia on culture Nikolai Burlyaev the medal of Francisk Skaryna, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti” with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The corresponding Decree No. 353 A. Lukashenko signed on October 7.
In accordance with the document, N. Burlyaev was awarded for his active creative, social and state activities, a significant personal contribution to the development of Belarusian-Russian relations in the field of culture.
