On October 7, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 355, providing for personnel changes in the judicial system, a correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports with reference to the Telegram channel “Pool First”.

New heads of a number of courts have been appointed, and the powers of some current chairmen have been extended. Among them is Tatiana Tupik, who was appointed chairman of the Minsk City Court for a new five-year term.

The judicial corps was replenished with 20 judges who previously worked in the judicial system, law enforcement and tax authorities, customs, the bar and the banking sector.
