The sale of electronic cigarettes in the Murmansk region will be banned

In the Murmansk region has prepared a bill on a complete ban on the sale of electronic cigarettes in the region. The document was sent to the Murmansk Regional Duma for consideration. This was reported by the Governor of the region Andrei Chibis.

The key goal of the initiative is to protect the health of the younger generation. Teenagers often perceive vapes as harmless entertainment due to the bright design and flavorings, but they hide nicotine, carcinogens and heavy metals. Such devices are quickly addictive and cause serious damage to the lungs, blood vessels and cardiovascular system even at an early age.

The regional authorities intend to limit the availability of such products for both young people and adults. The subjects of the Russian Federation received the opportunity to introduce such restrictions at the local level thanks to federal legislation - new norms give the regions the right to establish a ban on the implementation of electronic nicotine delivery systems from March 1, 2027.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” also reported that in the Arctic they want not to let “little men” on the water a month after the restrictions of exit places.
