Now experts are changing the section of the underground heat main with a diameter of one meter near the Pushkarevsky ring. The main stage is already close to completion: the updated site is planned to be prepared for work by the beginning of the heating season.
The need for major repairs was revealed after the summer survey. Robotic equipment checked about a kilometer of underground pipeline and found several critical defects, which decided to eliminate before the onset of cold weather.
After the completion of the pipeline assembly, the power engineers will have to restore the thermal chamber, fill the work site and re-asphalt the passage. By the decree of the head of Ulyanovsk Alexander Boldakin, the deadline for the completion of improvement and opening of the site was determined on October 31. If the work permits, the movement will be restored earlier.
At the same time, the main drive along Pushkarev Street remains accessible: repairs are organized without blocking the movement of cars and trams.
