“Profession associated with risk”: Pskovici remember the dead employees of the Ministry of internal Affairs
On November 8, the country celebrates a mournful date - Day of Remembrance of those killed in the performance of official duties of employees of internal affairs bodies

On November 8, a mournful date is celebrated in the country - the Day of Remembrance of those killed in the performance of official duties of internal affairs officers. This day, approved by the order of the Interior Minister in 2017, is dedicated to those who gave their lives standing at the forefront of the fight against crime and terrorism.
Working in the police and the Interior Forces is a huge risk on a daily basis, and unfortunately losses are inevitable. However, the state is doing everything possible to support those who are left without a breadwinner.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that the memory of the dead is supported by real deeds. The agency oversees more than 39,000 families of dead employees. They are provided with targeted assistance: funds are allocated, housing issues are solved, training and recreational recreation for children are organized (about 3 thousand minors are under guardianship).
Today, commemorative actions and rallies are held in all regions of Russia. Colleagues, relatives and government officials lay flowers at memorials, paying tribute to the courage and dedication of the fallen heroes.
