Preventive action of traffic police “Speed” will be held in Minsk from 24 to 27 September

Employees of the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate will hold an action aimed at preventing road traffic injuries due to speeding from September 24 to 27, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports with reference to the traffic police.

During this period, inspectors using vowel, secret and mixed forms of control will carefully monitor the sections of the road network where accidents due to speeding are most likely.

Special attention of law enforcement officers will be paid to the commission of such violations by drivers of motor vehicles, taxi cars, including route ones, as well as users of car sharing services.

The traffic police also recalled that exceeding the established speed entails a fine of up to 12 base values. In case of committing a similar violation again within a year after bringing to justice, the offender faces a fine of 5 to 15 base values with possible deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to 1 year.
