The union of metropolitan doctors sent almost 200 thousand BYN for summer rehabilitation of children

The Minsk City Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers continues to systematically support families of doctors. An important area of this work was partial compensation for the cost of vouchers to summer children's camps. This was reported to the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti” by the chairman of this organization Georgy Budrevych.

- In 2026, the trade union of doctors in Minsk sent almost 200 thousand rubles to compensate for the expenses of colleagues whose children rested in summer camps, Budrevych said. Thanks to this support, 1,045 children of metropolitan health workers were able to rest and improve their health.

G. Budrevych added that in January-August 2026, 330 members of the trade union of metropolitan doctors received monetary compensation to reduce the cost of sanatorium-resort vouchers to the health resorts of UE "Belprofsoyuzkurort". For a total of almost 90 thousand BYN.

According to the chairman of the trade union of metropolitan doctors, the work on the rehabilitation of medical workers is one of the key activities of the organization. In particular, a support system has been built: from information and assistance in choosing a sanatorium to financial compensation for the cost of rest.

- It is important for us that every doctor knows that his health is in the area of our attention, and the opportunity to recuperate is real and available, Budrevych said. Moreover, for medical professionals, the opportunity to fully rest and undergo a course of recovery is not just a pleasant bonus, but an important component of professional longevity.
