Prosecutor’s office of Bashkortostan appeals the verdict to the director of the enterprise, caught at the bribery

In Neftekamsk 38-year-old Ufamsk appeared in court for giving a bribe to an official through an intermediary on a large scale.

In July 2024, the head of the Ufa enterprise, which won the state contract for the construction of a boiler house in Agideli, through an intermediary transferred a bribe of 350 thousand rubles to an employee of the state committee for housing and construction supervision.

For a bribe, the official issued a positive opinion on the compliance of the autonomous heating system of the building with all requirements. The court imposed a fine of 2 million rubles on the bribe-taker and confiscated the amount of the bribe in favor of the state. The convict's savings have been seized.

The prosecutor’s office considered the sentence too lenient and intends to appeal it on appeal.
