The Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministry of Ecology joined the dispute about garbage treatment in the Vladimir region

In the arbitration proceedings between LLC "Waste Reloading Station" and the regional operator "Biotechnologies" new participants appeared. The court brought to the case as third parties the Prosecutor’s office of the Vladimir region and the regional Ministry of environmental management and ecology.

The dispute arose over a contract for the treatment of solid municipal waste. “Dumping station” seeks its conclusion with the regoperator, which previously unilaterally refused the agreement. The case file also refers to disagreements over the further management of waste.

The parties have not yet been able to agree on several key conditions. In particular, we are talking about the daily volumes of garbage that must be transferred for processing, the responsibility of the operator in case of non-delivery of waste within a month, as well as the ownership of secondary material resources received after sorting and processing of MSW.

On August 11, Garbage Transshipment Station sent an updated version of the contract to Biotechnologies. It included changes that were previously discussed at a meeting in the regional Ministry of Ecology. However, the regoperator did not accept this option and continued to insist on the revision of the document dated July 21.

The company also appealed to the court to take interim measures and invalidate the notice of unilateral termination of the contract. At the first stage, the court refused to satisfy this demand.

Now the prosecutor’s office of the region and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Vladimir region are officially connected to the proceedings.
