In Gus-Khrystalny, the prosecutor’s office has achieved a recalculation of the lifetime compensation that a local resident has received since the 1990s. At school age, he suffered a severe eye injury during class and subsequently lost his sight, after which he was diagnosed with a disability. The court in 1995 ordered him monthly payments, but their amount has not been properly reviewed.

After the inspection, the prosecutor’s office appealed to the court, demanding to restore the violated social rights and recover the debts formed over the past three years. The court supported the requirements of the supervisory authority. As a result, more than 700 thousand rubles were transferred to the man, and the amount of further monthly payments was indexed.
