The Prosecutor’s office in Shchelkovo controls the case of arson gas station

In Shchelkovo, the prosecutor's office took control of the investigation into the arson of a gas station. According to the agency, a 14-year-old schoolgirl committed arson, acting on the instructions of telephone fraudsters. The attackers met the girl in the messenger and gradually moved to threats.

First, the scammers lured geodata from the teenager, then introduced themselves as FSB officers and announced her involvement in sabotage. Threatening to kill their parents, they lured 100 thousand rubles. Later demanded to set fire to a police car, and then the gas station. The schoolgirl bought a flammable liquid and set fire to refueling pistols.

Currently, two criminal cases are being investigated: against a minor and against unidentified persons who persuaded her to commit a crime. The prosecutor’s office urges parents to closely monitor children’s online activities and be wary of suspicious contacts.
