Within the framework of the social project “Literary and Musical Heritage of Orel region”. Available to everyone! (0+) Chairman of the Commission for the Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Spiritual and Moral Values, Development of Education and Science, Culture and Interethnic Relations of the Civic Chamber of the Region Viktor Livtsov conducted a series of three excursions. Members of the Orel branch of the All-Russian Society of the Blind took part in them.
As told in the group “Civil chamber of the Orel region” in the social network Vkontakte, the routes of the lecturer built around key figures whose names are inextricably linked with the Orel land. Thus, the first topic was devoted to the famous Russian writer Ivan Turgenev. Participants visited the places associated with the creation of his famous novels, and learned about how the writer’s artistic world was formed in his small homeland. The second part revealed the personality of Afanasy Afanasyevich Fet, whose poetry, permeated with the philosophy of nature, acquired a special sound in the context of Oryol landscapes. Viktor Livtsov dwelled in detail on the little-known facts of the poet’s biography related to his service in the province. A separate theme was devoted to the composer Vasily Sergeyevich Kalinnikov. The story of his life and work was supplemented by fragments of symphonic music, which allowed the participants not only to hear, but also to feel the melodic structure of his works.
The regional Public Chamber added that the project was an important step in popularizing the cultural heritage of Orel region, making it accessible to people with visual disabilities.
Similar excursions will be held in the future.
