Overdue external receivables decreased in Minsk by 4% since the beginning of 2026

In Minsk, overdue receivables have decreased by 4% since the beginning of the year. This was discussed at a meeting of the Anti-Corruption Commission under the leadership of Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev. The participants of the meeting considered the issues of the work of organizations subordinate to the Minsk City Executive Committee to reduce overdue external receivables and the measures taken by the Main Department of Trade and Services of the Minsk City Executive Committee to prevent corruption in the field of trade, catering and consumer services.

— Since the beginning of the year, overdue external receivables have decreased by 4%. Its share in the total amount of external receivables amounted to 10.5% and decreased by 3%. At the same time, exports of goods and services increased by 24.7%. As a result, against the background of the growth of foreign economic activity, we have the dynamics of reducing overdue external receivables, "reported Tatyana Kravchenko, First Deputy Chairman of the Economy Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

During the meeting, the heads of enterprises with overdue receivables were heard.

V. Kukharev pointed out the need for a responsible approach on the part of managers to the conclusion of contracts with customers.

Head of the Main Department of Trade and Services of the Minsk City Executive Committee Elena Nagornaya spoke about the measures taken to prevent corruption in the field of trade, catering and consumer services.

There were facts of failure by officials to bring to justice citizens conducting unauthorized trade for material remuneration. Special attention is also paid to the organization of public catering in schools and kindergartens, social institutions. Namely, the implementation of procurement with the participation of intermediary structures. The local executive and administrative bodies are authorized to determine the list of food suppliers for educational institutions by the legislation regulating procurement at their own expense. Since September 1, the KSHP has been working with suppliers from the list, which was approved by the decision of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee drew attention to the need for a systematic approach to anti-corruption activities. He called one of the effective measures the rotation of personnel — not only heads of enterprises and departments, but also their deputies and specialists.

Also at the meeting, the information of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee on violation of legislation in the field of combating corruption was heard.
