Pskovite sent to the colony for theft of 50 thousand rubles from another account

Pskov city court sentenced a local resident for stealing money from the bank account of a friend. This “MK in Pskov” reported in the press service of the courts of the region.

It was established that on July 10, 2026, the woman drank alcohol in the company of friends. She took the victim’s phone with an open bank application and transferred 50 thousand rubles to the account of another acquaintance who did not know about her plans. Then she asked him to withdraw the money and give it to her.

The defendant pleaded guilty. The court took into account a particularly dangerous relapse: previously she was repeatedly brought to criminal responsibility, including for similar crimes. She was sentenced to two years in prison in a general regime colony.

The civil claim of the victim for 50 thousand rubles was satisfied.

The sentence has not yet gone into effect.
