PJSC AVAR became the first enterprise of the Pskov region to join the Corporate Demographic Standard and implement large-scale payments at the birth of children. This was announced by the Governor of the region Mikhail Vedernikov in his microblog.
According to him, last week, together with the first Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, they visited the plant: Impressions from the organization of production and attitudes to people remained the most positive. Denis Valentinovich paid special attention to the social policy of the enterprise and proposed to become a pilot participant in a new federal initiative – the Corporate Demographic Standard.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors Dmitry Melnikov told about new measures to support families. AVAR is already among the leaders in the region in employee care: the company provides for food compensation, targeted training and guaranteed employment of graduates, one-time payments for holidays, New Year gifts and family competitions. But the company is ready to go further - from October 30, the plant operates corporate family capital: 500 thousand rubles for the birth of the first child, 750 thousand for the second, 1 million for the third and each subsequent. Payments are available to both female and male employees who were on staff at the start of the program, and 100,000 of them can be received before the birth of the child by presenting a certificate of pregnancy.
“I thank Dmitry Pavlovich for his responsible approach and such significant support for families. Issues of demography are a very important regional and state task. And it is also an effective tool for solving personnel issues for the plant. I invite all heads of enterprises in the region to provide for similar measures to support families and invite them to cooperate within the framework of the demographic “gold standard”. For our part, we will provide all necessary support, the governor concluded.
